The plot of the game revolves around a man named Arthur Artorias. He was once an ordinary person, but his family and everyone who was dear to him died at the hands of traitors who brought a terrible conspiracy into reality. There was a real massacre, a bloodbath in which everyone died without exception. Arthur himself was considered dead, but in fact he was in eight years of exile, and now, years later, he returned to administer justice and take revenge without leaving the shadows. And now you will have to help him in this difficult matter…

The gameplay here is quite simple, but for the most part it is based on stealth, and this is its main feature. As the main character, you will eliminate enemies, always trying to stay in the shadows. You will have to learn secrecy, track down enemies, monitor their behavior and movement routes, look for the most convenient moments, and attack so that even the victim herself does not have time to understand what happened. Moreover, you yourself will decide what to do with the enemy. You can kill him, but then there will be a risk that his body will be discovered, or you can put him to sleep, and then you will have to act quickly before he wakes up and raises the alarm. We’ll have to choose…

Another feature is preparation for assignments. Each task is unique, and you will need to prepare for each of them in advance. For example, you will have to prepare arrows that will be needed during the task. But which ones will be useful? Smoke, explosive, blinding or poisonous? You decide! In total, in the game you will have more than three dozen varieties of arrows at your disposal.

And in Winter Ember you will also have to upgrade the characteristics. Stealth, combat, practicality, and more than seven dozen additional skills, including passive and active ones, will be at your disposal.
