State of Decay 2 is a game about the survival of a community of people in a zombie apocalypse. You control a group whose composition changes in each new game. You determine the best survival strategy while improving your characters’ skills and collecting the necessary resources. You choose where and when to repel enemies, build and strengthen your base exactly as you need. You decide who to send on a dangerous expedition in search of food and ammunition. You make contact with other survivors (each with their own goals and objectives) and decide which of these strangers are worth saving and accepting into your group.

Each new playthrough of the game will not be similar to the previous ones. The open world reacts vividly to your actions, changes in real time, opens up new opportunities and poses difficult dilemmas. The future fate of your community depends on how you solve them. Send your best picker to the other side of the map to find a cure for a sick friend…knowing that he may not come home. Help your neighbors and make an alliance with them… or take away their food, because it is more important to you than strangers.
