Now you are a mechanic, an engineer, if it’s more convenient to call it that, who will have to repair space technology, replace parts on space stations, and more. Do you think you can handle it? Well, don’t be so arrogant, because although this is a game, it is structured in a very realistic and complex way…

There are several game modes. Standard sandbox mode, as well as a career mode, or rather, a single-player campaign, during which you will have to face a whole bunch of problems. Here you will have to complete tasks given by the command, repair complex equipment, replace parts, explore stations on Mars, the Moon and in Earth orbit, and more. There are many options, and each time you will encounter something new, and each time the tasks will become more and more difficult.

Repair here is a rather complex and labor-intensive process. Here you won’t be able to simply press one key and repair the desired item. You will have to resort to using a special scanner to find the breakdown, then, for example, open the panel yourself, find the broken or failed item, find its copy and replace it. Believe me, it’s not that easy.

And in Space Mechanic Simulator you can control various instruments, devices, and much more. And on Mars, for example, you can even take control of a real rover, with which you can repair bases, hangars, stations and much, much more.
