The story of the game begins with the main character learning about his inheritance in a Russian village. He arrives there and meets local residents who help him settle in and show him how to manage his farm. At the same time, the main character is faced with various problems and tasks that need to be solved. The game has several opportunities for the main character: he can develop and improve his vegetable garden, communicate with the villagers and help them solve their problems, as well as explore the surrounding area and find new resources for production.

Almost everything in the game is interactive: go to the pond to fish, drive along the Russian off-road on a tractor, chop firewood and look after livestock. In addition, the main character can participate in various competitions and competitions to show off his skills and earn extra money. This seemingly simple, but deeply thought-out Russian village simulator with the very popular name Malinovka reflects the main tasks of any village family: growing and harvesting crops, raising livestock, building a house and, of course, communicating with neighbors.
