Description: REC: Beyond The Lens is a short first-person horror game with a frightening and oppressive atmosphere, where you have to wander around in pitch darkness and illuminate a small area in front of you with a weak flashlight. An old woman living on the outskirts of the city haunted the local residents, because they were sure that the unremarkable woman was a witch. Deprived of all social contacts, the elderly lady became interested in occult knowledge and the development of her mystical abilities, and after that people began to mysteriously disappear in the town. You have to get into a locked house and find out who or what is behind all the disappearances.
The game’s duration is only 30 minutes and the project itself is experimental, but this does not change the fact that it can scare the hell out of you. The key element of the horror of REC: Beyond The Lens is realistic graphics based on Unreal Engine 5. The environment creates a completely immersive effect, and familiar locations like a residential building with a kitchen, bedrooms and living rooms will add a special charm to what is happening, as if everything is really happening.
The gameplay is a walking simulator where you will slowly but surely move through the story. Explore accessible places in search of useful devices, solve simple puzzles and get ready to meet an unexpected enemy.
