So, the year is 2026, and global warming has only recently ended, allowing a terrible virus frozen in ice to break free. This virus turned out to be a gene disease that changed the entire world around us, and then took over all living things. And now, there are only a few cities left on Earth, bases in which the surviving people live. You will lead one of these cities and do everything to unite the remnants of humanity and give people a chance for rebirth.

But it’s not that simple. Firstly, all the remaining cities will have to be united into one whole – and not all of them want peace. Secondly, you will be disturbed by mutant monsters, into which most people have turned. Well, thirdly, you will personally need to participate in forays, which is not so easy.

One of the features of Phoenix Point is that you will play in two modes at once. One mode concerns the global map and involves building a base, developing a colony, communicating with other cities, concluding alliances, and much more. The second mode is the tactical battles mode in which you will take direct part.

The second feature is the ability to customize and upgrade each member of the squad. Plus, in battles you will use cover, make maneuvers and act as you see fit. But there is something else – the enemy will develop equally to you, and will keep pace with you. Will you create fast and powerful fighters? Then expect the same from the enemy. Have you focused on stealth? Wait for the spies! In general, you won’t be bored!
