The events of the game take place a short period of time after the events of the previous game. Abe managed to save the other assholes and escape from the factory where they were supposed to be killed. About three hundred assholes survived and escaped, but this did not lead to anything good, because now difficult times have come, it’s time to survive. Abe and his friends did not have anything to eat, and they decided to drink a drink from Soulstorm Brewery, created with the aim of destroying people like Abe. What did this lead to? This is what you will learn as you progress through the game…

As for the gameplay, it generally “absorbed” all the same mechanics that were used in the previous game. That is, you will again go through numerous tasks and missions, explore huge levels-locations, solve puzzles and complex tasks, communicate with different characters, level up and do much more. At the same time, the developers made several adjustments to the gameplay, adding new functions.

For example, now the main character has a full-fledged backpack-inventory in which you can store various items, which in itself is pretty cool. And believe me, this will not be superfluous, because there will be very, very many items that you will want to keep. And in Oddworld: Soulstorm you can create and craft various items from those that are available. For example, a drink and a lighter together form something like a Molotov Cocktail…

Otherwise, everything is quite simple – go through levels, fight enemies, complete tasks and just follow the storyline. Essentially, it’s the same platformer, only with new features and improved graphics.
