Description: New Tales from the Borderlands is a graphic adventure game and a spin-off of the main franchise. The Promethean metropolis is in a constant state of war, but this is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the impending disaster. The gifted Doctor Anu, along with his brother Octavio and mutual friend Fran, will have to go on a difficult and extremely dangerous journey in an attempt to get a healing crystal before a powerful corporation. Will you change the world for the better or will you fade into oblivion and forever remain a group of starry-eyed misfits?

The development was carried out by Gearbox Software, which was directly involved in the creation of the main series of games of the same name. New Tales from the Borderlands differs from previous installments in that players do not have to immerse themselves in the lore of previous titles. The story takes place in the beloved universe, but almost all the characters encountered are new. Fortunately, the developers did not forget about the fans and therefore included already known characters in the narrative as Easter eggs, as well as references to some specific events.

The gameplay is point-and-click with QTE moments. Unlike visual novels, you are given more opportunities to explore the proposed locations, collect items and talk with characters. The narrative is divided into chapters, and players will have to control three characters with their own unique personalities and plans for life. For example, Anu dreams of returning peace to a cruel planet, Octavio’s thoughts are occupied with fame and fortune, and Fran seeks revenge. Will the heroes be able to compromise or will their strong friendship be destined to fall apart?

As in the TellTale project, every decision you make will have an impact on the events that take place in the future. Starting from relationships with others and ending with unexpected plot twists that are difficult to predict in the process. Choose wisely and hope that it will lead to the desired consequences.
