Description: Colossal Cave is an unusual point-and-click adventure game that allows you to immerse yourself in an amazing fantasy universe. You have to take on the role of an adventurer who can’t sit still for a day. Together with the main character, go in search of long-lost treasures, and to do this you will have to walk through countless caves. Go deep underground, meet local inhabitants on your way in the form of giant snakes and skeletons armed to the teeth, and also get to the treasured chest with valuables.

This project can safely be called a unique game, because with their creation the developers literally paid tribute to the text RPG of the same name, released in 1976. At one time, Colossal Cave was truly revolutionary, because Will Crowther and Don Woods managed to create a non-linear narrative to which, if desired, players could return over and over again and at the same time constantly encounter something new along the way. Cygnus Entertainment studio tried to convey the original spirit and at the same time create a completely new project that will appeal to modern players.

The gameplay is built in the format of classic adventure games, but at the same time it is distinguished by a variety of actions. Gamers cannot freely move around locations; instead, you will have to choose where to stand as a game character and look around using the mouse. Inspect every available area for useful items, because you will need them in the future.

Battles take place in a turn-based format, where you choose one of the actions available in the menu. Strike, dodge, take a comfortable position, or try to get away at the last moment so as not to say goodbye to your life. You will face dozens of opponents and find an approach to each of them, because they all have weaknesses. Experiment with weapons and spells, and be sure that each new launch will be different from the previous one due to procedurally generated locations and dungeons.
