Description: Clunky Hero is a story-driven Metroidvania platformer with RPG elements, Hack’n’Slash and tons of humor. If you would like a platformer where you have a fun storyline, where you can talk to characters, solve side quests, find and buy items, change weapons and wearables, with great hand-drawn backgrounds presented in a very comical way, then Clunky Hero could be the game of your dreams!

In a village far, far away, a boring peasant named Rufus lived an ordinary life. The mistress of the house was his wife Brunilda, an unusually intelligent and cheerful woman who certainly could not be called “pretty.” Life in the village was pleasant and happy until one day, awakened by some magical mistake, the Evil One began spreading his minions throughout the city, committing heinous acts against the people. The worst of which was the kidnapping of Brunilda. She was snatched from Rufus’s arms and imprisoned in the Evil One’s castle. Transformed into a duck-faced blonde doll, she now spends all her time looking at herself in a small hand mirror.

Determined to get her back, Rufus made a helmet out of a bucket and chose a broom as his weapon. Now everyone calls him the BUMMY HERO, but he may be the only hope of defeating the villain no one wants to name. Rufus is now on a quest to save his wife and the entire village!
