Description: Classified: France ’44 is a turn-based strategy game set in the midst of World War II, in June 1944. You have to lead a special forces detachment hidden in the very heart of France right before the landing of allied forces in Normandy. Become a key force in the French resistance and repel the German forces at any cost, but be careful: the enemy is outnumbered, but this is not a reason to give up.

Proceed with caution and try not to get caught by the Gestapo. Classified: France ’44 offers a look at the established genre from a different angle: the gameplay invites you to master a complex moral system, where every shot will matter and will affect both you and your comrades, as well as your opponents. Use this feature to shake up unbalanced enemies and sow panic in enemy units, buying time for your allies to attack, while keeping an eye on the condition of your friends so as not to deprive them of their sanity with your actions.

Gather a unique squad of volunteers and conduct regular training to prepare them for the next missions. You don’t have much equipment with weapons at your disposal, so clearly plan who will get what kind of ammunition and what role the fighter will play on the map. As you progress, the difficulty will gradually increase, forcing you to face more serious challenges, so it’s time to hone your skills and prepare for more serious battles.
