The game takes place in a city called Union City, where the main character, aka Robert Foster, ends up after a child is kidnapped. Now he needs to infiltrate the city and find out about the goals of the kidnappers. But once in Union City, the main character discovers something completely different from what he expected. Total surveillance, espionage, control of artificial intelligence – all this creates a dystopia in which imaginary freedom contradicts all the basic laws of humanity. Will you be able to survive in this world and adapt? Or will you try to change everything?

Well, first of all, it would be worth saying that in this game the player is given the opportunity to influence what is happening around him with his actions and decisions. So, by making decisions regarding other characters, completing tasks or helping others, you will change the world around you in one way or another, and this in turn can affect literally everything without exception: communication, the attitude of the characters of the game towards the hero, and not only.

In general, the gameplay is quite simple and is based on the classic mechanics of the genre. That is, you will explore huge locations, communicate with various characters, complete numerous tasks and help people. At the very beginning, nothing very interesting will happen, but after a while you will be immersed in a series of events that will turn your world upside down once and for all.

But otherwise, Beyond a Steel Sky is a typical quest-action game with puzzles and an intriguing plot. Visit the city of the future and find out how the world has changed, become the head of the resistance and try to change at least something.
