The plot of the game tells about the distant future, in which the population of planet Earth has become so large that people had to go into space to colonize new worlds. One of these places was the satellite of Jupiter, called Europa. It was here that people went in search of a new home, but as it turned out, representatives of the human race were not the only creatures who arrived here.
The gameplay is quite simple and is based primarily on the detailed control of all elements of the submarine, which wanders across the expanses of the seas of Europe. You will see your boat in a cross-section from the side in such a way that you will be able to observe everything that is happening in the cabins, various compartments and more. You will have to supervise the work of crew members, work with various mechanisms, give numerous orders and deal with social issues.
In Barotrauma, you have everything at your disposal without exception: submarine guns, sonars, engines, nuclear reactors, the crew members themselves and much more. And you need to do everything possible to survive and save people’s lives. But it will be very difficult. First, you will be attacked by alien boats. Secondly, you will always lack resources.
