The game takes place in a huge Japanese temple from the era of Feudal Japan. This temple was once very revered and protected from Evil, the main character. the priestess failed to protect him from the forces of Evil, and now evil spirits have penetrated him. The gods have turned their backs on this temple, and now the only way to atone for sins and return the temple to its former greatness is to get through the darkness, drive out the spirits, and cleanse the temple. But it will be extremely difficult to do this.

The most important advantage of this game is the atmosphere. A gloomy atmosphere, a temple in the style of the era of Feudal Japan, spirits that sometimes appear too abruptly and are incredibly frightening, and even a Yokai with huge hands taken from Japanese folklore – all this creates a truly wonderful atmosphere in Ikai, overflowing with fear, horror, and… only.

As for the gameplay, it is quite simple in this game and is based on the simplest processes and actions. You will only explore the temple, survive in its vastness, collect items that will help you move on, solve puzzles and solve riddles. In fact, the game does not offer anything fundamentally new or complex, but it is still interesting; sometimes what happens in it frightens you so much that you just want to quit everything and close the game. But this is just the current version, the passage of which will take no more than half an hour.

Go to the ancient temple as a priestess who could not fulfill her destiny, cleanse the temple from the dark spirits and Yokai that live inside, explore all the nooks and crannies of the temple and solve puzzles, and most importantly, survive, no matter the cost.
