Description: The Hike is a first-person horror/survival game in which you must survive the horrors that unfold while investigating a mysterious emergency message on a simple hike through Red River National Park. Your chance of returning to society depends entirely on your legs and a flashlight, you are not a fighter.

Somewhere in Red River National Park, a riot breaks out at the Red River Psychiatric Hospital controlled by the US Army and the facility is broken into. Long after the “patients” have broken out, a mysterious emergency message is broadcast with permission from the local ranger station.

Acting irrationally after hearing a cryptic message about an emergency, seasoned hiker John Lake decides to go and find out for himself on what should be an easy hike for him. Once there, he realizes that he made a big mistake, having learned the terrible truth about the real situation the hard way.
